The release date of Gackt's 2001 Live Tour Requiem in Reminiscence DVD has been changed from November 21, 2001 (11/21/01) to November 30, 2001 (11/30/01).

Details on the Gackt PLATINUM BOX II have been released! It will be a DVD and VHS set that will include past promotional videos. As we reported in the last news update, the set will be released on December 21, 2001 (12/21/01) with a tax-in price of 5800 yen.

We also have details on the Gackt 2002 Official Desk Calendar. The calendar will have a tax-in price of 4095 yen, not including shipping price, and reservation begins November 1, 2001 (11/01/01). The first reservation period will be from 11/1/2001 to 12/16/2001 with delivery on 12/30/2001. The second reservation period will be from 12/17/2001 to 1/15/2002 with delivery on 1/31/2002. This is a limited edition item. There will only be 2000 sets, 100 of which will be autographed. The recipients of the autographed calendars will be determined by a lottery.

At all Lawson (?) stores in Japan, if you reserve KONAMI's Metal Gear Solid 2 video game (for PlayStation 2), you will be able to receive an original Gackt T-shirt.

The official word from Dears on the Gackt Official Homepage, which has been down for several months, is that it was the result of hacking on the server. They are currently working to fix the problem.

Nippon Crown has announced the Gackt PLATINUM BOX II. While details have not yet been specified, the release date has been set to December 21, 2001 (12/21/01), and the tax-in price is 5800 yen.

For anyone interested in Gackt and Malice Mizer, there is a book written by Iero-Z titled Gackt and Malice Mizer - Hikaru to Kage to Gackt (translation: Gackt and Malice Mizer - Light and Shadow and Gackt). The book is 207 pages, and details Malice Mizer's golden age (with Gackt and Kami) as well as why Gackt left the group. The book is published by Shuugei Sha, ISBN 4921023417. An update on ordering the Gackt 2002 OFFICIAL CALENDAR:
The second reservation deadline in Japan is October 31, 2001 (10/31/01), and the third reservation deadline is November 20, 2001 (11/20/01). This is the B-2 size, 7 page calendar that Story previously reported on September 16. There is also a desk calendar planned, but the selling schedule is still undecided.
