While several tracks are songs featured in the Mobile Suit Z Gundam movies released in 2005 and 2006 that have been previously released in earlier albums and singles, there are three all new cover versions of the classic 1980s Gundam themes "Ai Senshi," "Suna no Jujika," and "Meguriai."

THE SEVENTH NIGHT ~UNPLUGGED~ is a special album featuring acoustic arrangements of previously released tracks. This follow-up to THE SIXTH DAY ~SINGLE COLLECTION~ is the second item in Gackt's "GIFT" trilogy of album-length releases.
